義 興 (Yi Xin) Chwee Kueh (steamed rice cake)

After being away for 2 weeks in California, we couldn't resist heading to JB for some yummy food.
We were lucky to be early to spot this mobile chwee kueh stall attracting a queue.

Cut the story short, we joined the queue  and were lucky yet again to get the last packet of chwee kueh (the customers after us didn't get any as uncle was going to call it a day to fetch his son to some classes).

The chwee kueh looked a little denser than the typical ones we usually have. We were a little skeptical initially. But once into our mouth, topped with the "cai pok", we both agreed that it was "Bagus!" And certainly, it didn't take us long to finish it. We wished we had bought more!

Besides chwee kueh, uncle also sells chee chong fun, steamed yam cake and radish cake.
We bought the yam cake too and it was also delicious but I guessed you could tell from my post that we favored the chwee kueh more :P
